PEELS

VI PEEL

Vi Peel is a type of Chemical Peel that helps improve the appearance of your hands, chest, face and other body parts by eliminating any existing skin conditions. The conditions include acne, uneven tone, sagging skin, sun spots, enlarged pores, acne scarring, wrinkles and hyper pigmentation. Vi Peel imparts a youthful look to the skin by providing a glow and also by improving collagen production.

Vi Peel Precision Plus chemical solution is applied topically to the skin, which takes about 30 minutes. The peel is left to dry for 4 hours and can be washed off at home using provided wipes. A mild stinging sensation during application is normal and subdues quickly.

This can be done every 2 weeks until you obtain the desired result. However, in most cases, an initial peel followed by 2 to 3 peels in a year is enough to maintain the desired results.

Redness during recovery is common, which will subside in 3-5 days after your Vi Peel. Although you can return to most regular activities, it is recommended that you avoid rigorous exercise, sauna, or swimming for 7 days after your treatment. The peeling of skin occurs around the third day. Do not expose yourself to direct sunlight when the skin peels and do not pull back on loose skin to avoiding scarring. You can wear a moisturizer to cover the appearance of peeling skin. Full results can be seen within a few days of the Vi Peel procedure.

TCA PEEL

Trichloroacetic acid peels are medium strength chemical peels that rejuvenate and repair your skin. They improve skin discoloration, reduce fine lines, and even out skin texture.

The peel is applied in layers until the desired effect is obtained. We will go over your home-care instructions as well.

NEVER PULL BACK on the skin that is shedding. It is recommended to use a small cuticle scissor to trim the exfoliating skin. You can also go and wash the face to help gently remove the hanging skin. If washing the face multiple times a day, be sure to add moisture back to the skin by applying Post Peel Protectant or coconut oil. You also MUST use SPF 50 or stronger to protect the skin during and after the exfoliation process.

GLYCOLIC or RETIN-A PEEL

People commonly use chemical peels and retinoids to combat acne or improve their appearance after suffering skin damage caused by the sun. Retin-A is one of many vitamin A-based drugs called retinoids, and is a brand name for a drug called tretinoin. Glycolic acid is a natural acid that is found in sugar cane.

lactic peel

Lactic acid peels are alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) derived from milk. They are very mild chemical peels with little to no downtime. Because lactic acid is a natural human metabolite, there is less chance of an allergic reaction with this type of peel.
